 | This is a thirsty Arne. Considering this picture,
it is no wonder he got quite a reputation for being able to be a living
coffe-machine early in the morning. Since Arne turned out to be the only
holy person at the Chapel on our pilgrimage (he was the only one who
achieved exactly three chimes with the bell), it must be because of
his abilities as a coffe-maker, rather than drinking. Maybe...?
 | Peter resting at the Kapellhaus. With the tight schedule (both the course and the evenings out) it wasn't that easy to find the time for rest.
 | Another night - another beer...this time starring Ian, Arne and Helge
 | Emma and Arne at the Kapellhaus, where most of the foreign students lived.
 | Sunday we had our outing, and this picture was taken after the pilgrimage. And never before, probably, did a Weissenbier taste better than after this expedition in the Austrian wilderness.
 | Three zealous men aiming for the high mountains. If only they had known how steep it was, at the foot of the mountain as they were, they wouldn't have been running like this.
 | Arnt Ola and Frode in St.Wolfang. The laugh is on Arnt Ola, because he had just spil
led half his beer on his shirt (which is not that easy to see on this picture). We had only two minutes to reach the boat, so Arnt Ola was trying to be quick. To quick it turned out to be.
 | This is Helge - the great photographer. We are bound for St.Wolfgang, with St.Gilgen
in the back.
 | The Family history course going out as just one big, happy family.
 | A panorama view of the old town of Salzburg from the fortress.
 | Don't know where, don't know when...
 | Astrid, Arne, Peter, Lucy, Emma and Pauline at the fortress. Bet they didn't walk up. I did - with a hangover.
 | Lucy, Emma and Ian on the boat to St.Wolfgang.
 | Helge and Peter...also on the boat to St.Wolfgang. Those
of you with good eyes may see Irina, Jan and Manfred on the bench in
the background.
 | Michael getting "Neu super massage" - footmassage for tired
feet. Arnt Ola, very impatient: "Now it's my turn, now it's my turn!" So,
Michael had to step down to let Arnt Ola have a go.
 | Michael, Arne, Arnt Ola and Astri outside the
Heimatmuseum in St.Gilgen |
 | A nice view of the old city, with the fortress in the
background
 | The main street of the old city. |
 | Being an Arsenal fan, I just had to have a picture of the gun.
 | Pauline, Lucy and Emma at the "Salzburghohen" or was it "Hohensalzburg"- the fortress. |
 | The moving pictureThe camera is still, the room is still but not Pauline and Knut!
