As a part of the NRC project "Topology in Norway" a symposium will be arranged in Oslo, June 2 and 3, 2005.
The symposium is in honor of Bjørn Jahren, who will turn 60 later this year.
Except for the "Felleskollokvium" 14:30 - 15:30 on Friday, all lectures will be in Vilhelm Bjerkes hus, room number 201. This is the low building just North of the Mathematics department, and is marked "13" on this map of the campus at Blindern.
(Added after the conference) We want to thank everybody for a successful conference. Unfortunately Munkholm had to cancel, and Jon Eivind Vatne sportily agreed to hold his lecture on Thursday and so allowing John Rognes some time for preparation for a fresh talk entitled Automorphisms of spheres, number fields, motives and spectra.
