Opening times
Both the Arboretum and the Botanical garden are open 24 hours a day, all year round.
Admission is free.

Parking

Use Mildevågen or Vågeelva when visiting the Botanical Garden (south west),
and Dalsmyra or Mildevågen when visiting the Arboretum.
Driving in the Arboretum
Driving is as a rule not permitted in the Arboretum.
For groups with special needs, old and disabled persons, passenger cars and mini buses may drive to Blondehuset. This must be booked in advance by telephoning: 55 98 72 50.
Buses may drive up the hill to the crossing at Fana Folk High School to allow passengers to get off the bus.
Cafe
The Blondehuset cafe is open at weekends from Easter to the end of September.
Toilets
Toilets are available to the public in the cafe during opening hours. The toilet in Blondehuset is open during working hours from April to September.
The toilet facility in the Botanical Garden is open from 8 am to 8 pm (address: Litle Milde 6).
There is also an outdoor lavatory in the bathing area at Grønevika.
Visitor Information Folders
The main folder is available in several languages; all may be downloaded here.
Folders have been placed in post boxes at central locations in the Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Folders in English, German and French are available from the boxes at Dalsmyra and the southern entrance of the Botanical Garden.
A brochure for the Japanese Garden is available from a box close to the garden's entrance.
