Symposium on Nano and Micro Frontiers in Biology and Medicine

In the field of biotechnology, the development of research projects for knowledge increase and/or commercial interest to answer public-health demand is strongly dependant on interdisciplinary interplays between physics, chemistry, engineering, biology and medicine. This is to date especially true for nano-biotechnology.

Our symposium will bring together Norwegian and French researchers from University and Industry. It will encourage discussions on the nano- and micro-applications of Material Sciences to Biology and Medicine (see session details below). Because the control of nanoscale objects can lead to substantial technological and knowledge breakthroughs and open new markets, it is important to facilitate exchanges of ideas and to join competences.
