The Centre for International Health is involved in numerous interdisciplinary projects with partners from many countries and continents.
The projects are funded by different organisations such as the The Research Council of Norway (RCN), Norad (NUFU, NOMA), EU, Fredskorpset etc.

Projects Child Health & Nutrition

The objective of this project is to establish and strengthen Master's programmes in clinical disciplines at the main academic medical institutions in Tanzania and Ethiopia.

Fredskorpset: Addis-Bergen Neurosurgery
The project aims to establish a sustainable Neurosurgery Service and Training Programme in Ethiopia through exchange of personnel between Addis Ababa University and Haukeland University Hospital/ University of Bergen.

Registry based reproductive health research in Northern Tanzania
In 2000 reproductive health registry was started at the KCMC hospital. The purpose is to provide essential data on a range of important reproductive health outcomes and to build necessary competence in registration, computer management and research for registry operation.
