1984-1990: Analyse of stratigraphy and finds from the site Folkebibliotekstomten in Trondheim (late 10th - middle of 14th century).
1991-2003: Director of the Excavations in the Archbishop’s Palace’ in Trondheim (late 10th – 18th century).
2003-2006: post doc., CMS: Christianization of Norway (c.560 - 1150/1200)
