Exhibition: Fragments From the Past III
Our image of the Middle Ages is based on fragments and remains. This is the third and last part of an exhibition exploring how we put together the past. The opening will take place on February 4th at 3pm, University Museum of Bergen, Cultural History Collections.
In addition to the Museum's excellent collections of medieval material, the exhibition will present aspects of the Centre's research into 'Centre and Periphery in Medieval Europe'.
This time the focus will be on 'Penance and remission' and 'Sagas and saga writing', and like before these themes will be explored in the following talks:
