The development of Norway as a knowledge nation will require a significant commitment to research in the years to come. CMR has a role to play, and will be an important partner and contributor to the primary industries of western Norway, and key national needs within energy/petroleum, marine/maritime and climate/environment.

The company will further contribute to an increased level of interaction in the region by laying the groundwork for research clusters.

UiB owns 50 % of CMR.
