Access to the Course Unit

The course is primarily intended for master students in pharmacy getting their supervision at Department of Biomedicine, but may also be suitable for other postgraduate students. The lectures are also given to medical biology students as part of their methods course, BMED320.

Aim and Content

The course is aimed at giving the student a theoretical overview of methods and technology commonly used in basic medical research. The course will also provide the students with training in literature search and use of reference managing software/programs.

After completion of the course the student should be able to:

Pre-requirements

The students are assumed to have basic knowledge of molecular and cell biology.
