Aim and Content
The course outlines various methods used for modelling and processing of seismic data of various geological models. Seismic modelling will be demonstrated with emphasis on ray theory and finite difference techniques. Methods for seismic imaging in time and depth will be demonstrated using both post-stack and pre-stack seismic data. The students will perform various modelling and processing projects and present their results in plenum. The course will provide a good basis for students working with seismic data in their master project.
