Learning Outcomes

After completing the course the student can:

  • make programs that analyzes data from different types of experiments that generate large amount of data from genomes and theire functions, and have good understanding of belonging informatics methods
  • make programs that integrate the resulting data and use existing informations from databases and other sources

Aim and Content

The course gives an introduction to selected large-scale experimental methods to survey biological systems, with special emphasis on methods to analyse the resulting data. We will especially deal with problems connected to micro-matrix- and proteom-technology.

Exercises might be graded and included in the final grade. Oral exam.

No aids for oral exams, calculators for written exams.

The grading scale used is A to F. Grade A is the highest passing grade in the grading scale, grade F is a fail.
