Students admitted to a Master`s degree Programme may join this course. A good Bachelor`s degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Health Sciences or Natural Sciences. Good knowledge of English.
Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students shall
- understand the principles for preventive measures for chemical hazards in the working environment
- know tools for elimination and substitution of chemicals in the industry
- have knowledge about administratrative and processtechnical measures
- have a knowledge about natural and mechanical ventilation in the industry; general and local ventilation
- know the types and qualities of different personal protective equipment such as gloves, dust masks and gas masks
- understand different methods for evaluating effects of interventions in the working environment
