Learning Outcomes
This part of the training is based on fish as research animal.

There are many such factors contribute to background noise and bias research results, such as the environment and factor by the animals themselves. It is important to identify and control such factors.
In LAS 203 the student will achieve knowledge on the biology of the most commonly used (fish) research animals and how environmental factors influence these.
LAS 203 also focus on anesthesia and the use of pain killers and planning and design of fish experiments.
Finally ethics and use of alternatives (3R) is an important topic.
