Pre-requirements

Introduction to linguistics course, and/or a course in statistics. Preferably 60 ECTS of cognitive psychology, language studies, linguistics, and/or cognitive science. The course can be part of a master´s or bachelor´s programme.

Learning Outcomes

The course introduces current research topics in psycholinguistics and experimental research. Experimental psycholinguistics involves testing models of human linguistic performance and cognition related to language understanding and production.

The aim of the course is that students will design, carry out, and evaluate a psycholinguistic experiment, and write a research report.

The course includes: Introduction to current research topics, experimental design, The planning and carrying out of experiments and evaluation of the results as well as the writing of a research report.
