Learning Outcomes
Students have acquired a broad overview and critical understanding of the relationships between media, communications and globalization. This includes an understanding of the defining theoretical traditions of the field, and the ability to independently and critically apply these to explain key developments within the media and communications industries.

Access to the Course Unit
The course is reserved for students at the master programme in Media Studies. Students from other master programmes can be accepted after application. Exchange students with at least one year studies within media/communication/information from their home university can also be accepted.
Aim and Content
This course provides a multidisciplinary and critical introduction to developments in the media and communications landscape associated with the processes of globalization.
