Learning Outcomes
This is an introductory course in the Old Norse language. The course is intended for foreign students who are already studying Old Norse or Scandinavian languages and literature.
The aim of the course is to teach students to read and understand simple Old Norse prose and to acquire a good knowledge of its grammar and vocabulary.

Assessment methods
Written examination (6 hours)
Students can write in Norwegian, Danish or Swedish, or another language according to agreement with the teacher.
Students are allowed to use Old Norse dictionary during the written examination.
