Students must have a good knowledge of both the Norwegian language and the Old Norse language.
Learning Outcomes
This is an introduction to working with Old Norse texts. The course is intended for students already studying Old Norse or Scandinavian languages and literature abroad.
The aim of the course is to learn to work with more advanced texts than in the NOFI101 course.

Assessment methods
Written examination (6 hours)
Students can write in Norwegian, Danish or Swedish, or another language according to agreement with the teacher.
Students are allowed to use Old Norse dictionary during the written examination.
