Pre-requirements
Students must have a good knowledge of both the Norwegian language and the Old Norse language.
Compulsory Requirements
All students must submit a reading list.
Students who choose term paper and oral exam as assessment method, must in addition submit a draft of the term paper and receive individual supervision in connection with the term paper.
Assessment methods
Students can choose between two different assessment forms:
Either:
Written examination (6 hours)
Or:
Term paper and oral examination.
Students can write in Norwegian, Danish or Swedish, or another language according to agreement with the teacher.
