Aim and Content
The course gives an introduction into computer science and on how to use the available IT-resources at the institute by taking examples from ongoing research activities. LINUX will be used as the development environment with C++ as the programming language; ROOT as a tool for data analysis will be introduced and basic methods of networking will be trained.
