Aim and Content
PSANA 201 is a course for students who are interested in acquiring knowledge about psychoanalysis for application in connection with disciplines such as literature, film/theatre studies, gender studies, philosophy, history of ideas, religion studies, organisational or clinical psychology. The teaching will be based on texts by Sigmund Freud and will continue with critical readings of his theories from the perspective of French psychoanalysis, Gender and psychoanalysis and Anglo-American psychoanalysis.
These theories elaborate on the (gendered) subject in culture and her/his consequent relations with the world and others.
