This deadline applies to applicants who meet the Norwegian language requirement.
Master´s programmes
Application deadline: 1 December
Applicants for the Quota Scheme and Applicants covering their own living expenses.
ERASMUS, Nordplus and other bilateral exchange students
Application deadlines:
15 May: Autumn semester

Admission to Bachelor's degree programmes
Admission to undergraduate studies in Norway is coordinated through The Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (NUCAS). Section for Academic Administration is responsible for admission to regular undergraduate study programmes at the University of Bergen.

Admission to Master's Degree Programmes
The University of Bergen offers more than 30 2-year Master's degree programmes taught in English. International applicants can apply for admission to these programmes by following the application procedures that apply for the relevant category.

Admission of Exchange Students
International students can apply as exchange students if they are nominated by their home universities for a period of study abroad (1 or 2 semesters). The University of Bergen offers a large number of courses taught in English at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Norwegian as a Second Language for students and for Refugees and immigrants
The University of Bergen offers Norwegian Courses to non-native speakers of Norwegian.
