While Bergen lay sleeping
With the luxury of light summer nights now once again here, Study Bergen set off for a night hike over Vidden, hoping for an experience somewhat out of the ordinary.

By day, the mountains of Bergen provide an excellent arena to escape from the daily bustle of everyday life. Here you can be alone with your thoughts and experience breathtaking views over the city and its surroundings. One of the most popular hiking trails in Bergen is over the mountain plateau known as ‘Vidden’.
Approximately thirty students from ten different countries assembled at the foot of
Mount Fløyen on Saturday 6th June, to join Study Bergen's trip. Opting for the winding path to the summit, rather than the Funicular, the pace up to Fløyen was brisk as sunset was approaching.
