2019 - Kjersti Davidsen

Born 1980, holds an M.D. from the UiB and was until 2019 doing her PhD project in the Lorens and Straume groups. She studied the Axl receptor and its involvement in therapy resistance in melanoma and breast cancer, aiming to inhibit Axl-dependent functions to overcome therapy resistance.

Kjersti Tefre Davidsen completed her PhD June 21st 2019. Title: "The Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Axl in Tumour Phenotyptic Plasticity and Acquired Resistance to Cancer Targeted- and Immunotherapy." Supervisors were Professor James Lorens and Professor Oddbjørn Straume. See press release.
