dCod 1.0: Decoding the systems toxicology of Atlantic cod

Main content

Dear Master students of Biology, Mathematics and Informatics,

in order to solve our global challenges, future scientists need to collaborate across traditional disciplines. To achieve this aim, it is important to interact with scientists from other fields, and practice communication of your own research.

As the first, large, transdiciplinary research project at MatNat, the dCod project wants to share our experiences and create a friendly place to meet for Master students of different disciplines.  Therefore, the dCod project, together with Helix, STIM, MFU, IFU, and LFFH, invites you to the first transdiciplinary workshop for Master students from Dept. of Biological Sciences, Mathematics, and Informatics.

Preliminary program:
- Short introduction to the dCod 1.0 project
- A mathematician's experiences from working with biologists (Guttorm Alendal)
- What is RRI, and why does is it important in future research? (Dorothy Dankel)
- Group discussions
- Pizza!
