Increased availability and proximity for students at UiB
Starting 1 October all students at UiB will more easily be able to manage their studies online, as well as receiving administrative help at their faculty. Increased availability for the students at UiB has been one of the main objects for the changes made.
Main content
The result of the changes made is better online solutions, and you will find several services available on uib.no/studentinfo.
The following services will be available online:
- Retrieve missing/lost semester card
- Order a Transcript of Records
- Order a Confirmation of Student Status
- Special arrangements for exams
- Name changes and update of Norwegian ID-number
- Apply for Norwegian Language course
The Centre for Information and Student Services (the Glass House) will be open for the last time on 30 September.
Starting 1 October the new Help Desk for international students located at the Student Centre will give you guidance on how to use new information services online and at your faculty.
Starting January 2014 the Help Desk will offer international students additional services related to the semester startup.
