Exterior renovation

Renovation was carried out internally at Dragefjellet School (Gamlebygget) during 2014-15. The time has now arrived for the renovation of the exterior of the building. The roof will be replaced , the building will be painted, all the windows will be replaced and on the south-east side of the building new drainage will be put in place.
The renovation work started this summer and will last during the whole of the autumn semester 2016 with a possible extension depending on the weather while the work is going on.

Use of the building

The building will be open for normal use throughout the period, but the work will cause some disadvantages for users in some periods. The faculty is therefore in close dialogue with the Property Department and the Division of Student Affairs in order to arrive at a schedule which takes into account the timing of the exams and the tuition. No work of a noisy or disturbing nature will take place during the days with exams.

As was the case when the building was closed during 2014-2015, it will be possible for the law students to use the reading rooms at the Faculty of Humanities (HF) at Sydneshaugen during periods when the renovation work is found to be distracting.
