Novel drug candidates for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease treatment

The optimalisation projects are projects receiving support from the Norwegian research council to develop promising biotechnological research towards a commercial potential.  The grant is approximately 8 mill NOK, and is the only project at the University of Bergen and one of only two projects in Bergen receiving support in this year's call. The project is a cooperation between researchers at Department of Moelcular Biology, Department of Biology, Department of Chemistry and the Centre of Pharmacy at the University of Bergen, at the Department of thoraic medicine at Helse Bergen HF and business developers at Bergen Teknologioverføring (BTO).
