Study programmes

A study programme is an organized study path that leads to a degree. The Faculty of Medicine offers bachelor's degree programmes, master's degree programmes and professional degree studies.

Courses

The study programmes offered by the faculty consists of courses with different sizes and contents. To be allowed to take a subject you must in most cases be admitted to the relevant study programme.

Language requirements

Most of our study programmes are taught in Norwegian, and therefore a good language proficiency in Norwegian is required for all courses that are taught in Norwegian

Admission

If you want to apply for admission to undergraduate degree programmes, you must apply through the centralised application processing centre NUCAS, in Norway called Samordna opptak.
The Faculty of Medicine does not offer any bachelor's degree programmes or professional degree programmes taught in English.
