I am part of the research support group at the University library, where I work in the Bibliometrics group with analysis of publication trends (e.g. co-authorship, thematic analyses, field mappings). This work involves preparing the annual publishing report for UiB, meeting requests for statistics from researchers and administrative staff, and various projects. As part of this group, I contribute to development programs for researchers with seminars on metrics, profiles and visibility.

I am working on the project Sustainable Development Research for All, where we maintain a portal for easy access to SDG-related reseach from Norway (baerekraftsforskning.no) and a mapping method for SDG-related publications (github.com/SDGforskning).

I hold a PhD in biology, which focused on non-native seaweeds in relation to native species and climate change.

Information literacy and Research support:

  • Publishing strategy, profiles and researcher visibility, and bibliometrics (courses for researchers and integrated courses for PhD candidates) (2020-present)
  • Literature search, citing and use of sources, reference managament tools (integrated and open courses for the Medical and Psychology Faculties) (2020-2022)

Biology:

  • BIO309 - Marine Flora (assisting/teaching, 2013-2020)
  • BIO212 - Marine community ecology (2018)
  • Teaching assistant (2012-2017): BIO101 & BIO102 - Organism biology 1 & 2; BIO300 - Biological Data Analysis and Research Design; BIO309 - Marine flora; BIO325 - Ocean Science
