My research splits into two quite different fields; morphological and behavioural differetiation on individual and population level in threespine stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus) and educational research in biology and science.

My teaching deals with biology- and science students who aim to qualify as teachers in secondary school. Focus for this part of the teacher education is how to apply diverse teaching and learning methods to motivate the students and provide good learning, and to develop the ability to reason over personal teaching practice.
