The cycle of progressivist Latin American governments seems to be in decline. The electoral triumphs of the right in Argentina and Venezuela are reason for the old oligarchies to be pleased at the new possibilities of returning to power.

In this scenario of reflux in the post-neoliberal decade, we meet Franck Gaudichaud who has has edited the book “Latin America: Liberation in progress”. He will try to explain what is currently happening in Argentina and Brazil, the reasons behind, and the possible overall political consequences in future Latin American progressivism.

This seminar will mainly be held in Spanish.

All are welcome!
