Can we restore biodiversity after nitrogen pollution ceases?

  • Nitrogen deposition affects ecosystems in many different ways. In general, we see that when nitrogen deposition increases, natural biodiversity decreases
  • We will test how we could restore biodiversity and reverse the negative effects on ecosystems
  • The EU is in the process of revising its air quality policy right now! And we have an excellent experimental set-up!

  • Nitrogennedfallet påvirker økosystemene på en rekke forskjellige måter. Generelt ser vi at når nitrogennedfallet øker så vil det naturlig artsmangfoldet minke
  • Vi skal teste hvordan vi kunne restaurere det biologiske mangfoldet og reversere de negative effektene på økosystemene
  • EU er i ferd med å revidere sin luftkvalitetspolitikk akkurat nå! Og vi har et kjempe-pent forsøksfeltet!
