The seminar addresses cultural perspectives on childhood, psychology and the politics of parenting, and consists of a lecture by Dr. Charlotte Faircloth and a joint discussion.

Dr.Charlotte Faircloth is a senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at Roehampton University in London and a Visiting Scholar and founding member of Center for Parenting Culture Studies. Her research interests include cultures of parenthood; notions of body, gender and equality in care-giving and its implication for other relationships; and more broadly in knowledge claims around optimal forms of care.

The seminar will be held in English and is a open seminar.
