Climate change: media, politics and society

Climate change: media, politics and society is a network for climate research from the social sciences. The network has been created by researchers from Department of Comparative Politics, Department of Information Sciences and Media Studies and Department of Sociology.

The network was established in late 2011, and each semester we have a seminar series with around five seminars, open for all that are interested. This is a multidisciplinary network that wants to contribute to an environment for social science climate research at the University of Bergen. We have participants from several of the faculties at the university, and also cooperate with the Bergen Program on Governance and Climate at the Uni Rokkan Centre.

There are several research projects at these departments going on now that deal with climate change. Different projects are presented on these webpages. There will also be information about events at and outside of the University of Bergen, that might be of interest to those interested in the network and social science climate research.
