Collaborative Networked Art and Literature at Landmark and UiB

Letters dancing on the walls, computer-interpreted voices represented on the screen, projected haikus created from phrases in today's newspapers - these are just a few of the performances shown at our conference this November.

Around 30 researchers and artists were in Bergen from November 8-10 2009 to participate in The Network as a Space and Medium for Collaborative Interdisciplinary Art Practice, which is organised by Scott Rettberg of the Research Group for Digital Culture with financial support from LLE and from the Norwegian Research Council's VERDIKT program

The program is packed, with academic talks and presentations of artwork in the daytime and performances and readings in the evenings. You can see documentation of the first performance evening in the video on the right side of the screen.

You can also follow comments from the conference on Twitter through the hashtag #network09, or read abstracts of all the talks at the conference website.
