A new seminar series, provisionally entitled BIOPOP highlights has started! These are monthly seminars that introduce research in population, community, and evolutionary ecology at BIO through a series of short talks. Each seminar lasts only one hour and will consist of three short talks from three research groups.

Starring this time:

  • Henrik Glenner (MB): On the origin of parasitism: Evolution of a novel mode of feeding deeply within suspension feeding barnacles
  • Anne Gro Vea Salvanes (EvoFish): Enriched rearing: Does it matter for behaviour and river survival of Vosso salmon fry?
  • Dag Aksnes (TE): Fish, jellies, and Killing the Winner
