Occupational and environmental medicine

After the explosion in Gulen

This is a joint project between Helse Bergen/Haukeland University Hospital and the University of Bergen. The health problems of the people in Gulen will be identified in the aftermath of the explosion.

Cadmium in the local environment

The Research group for Occupational and Environmental Medicine, University of Bergen has in cooperation with Boliden AS examined whether the population closest to the zinc factory in Odda has a higher level of cadmium and micro protein in the urine, than persons living in a less polluted area.

Occupational epidemiology in Norway - HUSK

HUSK is a large, national project covering the population of the county of Hordaland, for the age group 39-44 years.
