The research group Text, discourse and professional communication comprises researchers focusing on professional communication/LSP in a broad sense. The members of the group come from the Department of professional and intercultural communication at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), the Department of foreign languages (University of Bergen), the Department of linguistic, literary and aesthetic studies((University of Bergen)and Uni Computing at Uni Research. The group's aim is to promote research cooperation within the field of professional communication/LSP. Our main research fields are corpus linguistics, text theory, intercultural communication, knowledge communication, terminology and metaphor theory.

Our activities include common projects, reading groups, seminars, presentations of research resources and projects as well as guest lectures.
