Formatting and Submission Information for EuroVis 2011

Papers should be at most 9 pages in length, excluding references, and at most 10 pages in length, including references.  We encourage the use of digital videos to support paper submissions, particularly if part of, or all of the work covers interactive techniques.  The described page limit (up to 9 pages, excluding references, and up to 10 pages in total) is intended to provide authors enough space for referring to related work and explicitly cite all relevant references from the literature.

In order to submit to EuroVis 2011, authors should prepare their submissions as a PDF files, using the EuroVis 2011 LaTeX2e style file (including a document class, a style file, a sample LaTeX2e source file, and a corresponding PDF output file).  If any other package should be used for typesetting a paper submission, the EuroVis 2011 style must be reproduced as demonstrated in the EuroVis 2011 sample PDF file (as closely as possilbe).  In either case, please make sure that an image embedded in your paper does not contain transparent pixels (i.e., an alphachannel of a transparent color), because this will lead to problems when the resulting PDF is displayed or printed.

Submissions can also include supplementary material such as videos or executable programs, up to a limit of 50MB for the entire submission, including the PDF file.  Please use only the most common possible video codecs to maximize the chances that the reviewers can see it.

Abstracts and papers should be submitted through the vgtc page at the Precision Conference System (PCS), URL http://precisionconference.com/~vgtc/.

Authors of accepted papers need to fill and send the copyright form (available here).

Posters should be one page in length (at most 2 pages), using the EuroVis 2011 LaTeX2e style file (including a document class, a style file, a sample LaTeX2e source, and a corresponding PDF output file).  If any other package should be used for typesetting a paper submission, the EuroVis 2011 style must be reproduced as demonstrated in the EuroVis 2011 sample PDF file (as closely as possilbe).

Posters should be submitted by sending the document directly to the poster chair.
