Akademiet Cinemateket: Roderick Coover

In cooperation with UiB Digital Culture, the Cinematek at USF Verftet presents an evening with filmmaker Roderick Coover. The evening will include screening and discussions of Coover's work in interactive and art contexts, moderated by Scott Rettberg, and a discussion of his work on Edward Abbey, with Fulbright scholar and environmental literature expert Jennifer Ladino. The evening will conclude with a full screening of his new film about author and environmental activist Edward Abbey, CANYONLANDS: EDWARD ABBEY AND THE DEFENSE OF WILDERNESS. 

Roderick Coover's visit is funded by the UiB distinguished guest researcher program, and is part of the LLE Digital Culture program's Jubilee series of events, celebrating 25 years of digital culture research at UiB.
