Roderick Coover presents the book SWITCHING CODES: THINKING THROUGH NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE HUMANITIES AND ARTS

Guest researcher Roderick Coover will present the collection Switching Codes: Thinking Through New Technologies in the Humanities and Arts, to be published by University of Chicago press in 2011. The book features chapters by Coover on digital panorama and on the works of Jeffrey Shaw, and also includes essays by Werner Cuesters, Bruno Latour, Charles Bernstein, Richard Powers and others to forge cross-disciplinary dialog about technology, scholarship and creativity.

Roderick Coover's visit is funded by the UiB distinguished guest researcher program, and is part of the LLE Digital Culture program's Jubilee series of events, celebrating 25 years of digital culture research at UiB.
