Research

His major topic in scientific research was initially on endocrine treatment of breast cancer, with particular emphasis on translational research exploring  the mechanism of action and resistance toward  endocrine therapy with aromatase inhibitors. His  research activity also involved pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of different agents used in breast cancer. Currently, the main focus is on genetic factors causing resistance toward chemotherapy and genetic and epigenetic factors related to risk of developing breast as well as gynecological cancers
