Tema/fokus på: We want to develop and test knowledge about how to develop and construct intelligent programs by programming and evaluating the programs and the work processes leading to them. The core of our field of study includes theories and techniques from AI, the study of how we can build computer systems that behave intelligently. In current information systems, the requirements for advanced behaviour are constantly increasing. One expects that the tools we use support complex work processes and that the interfaces are flexible. AI plays an important role in the development of such systems. Another dimension of our research is the study of how a group of people can work together to develop good programs in an efficient way. We want to study how these work processes can be improved by emphasizing how people communicate, the work environments, use of tools, as well as their technical capabilitites.
