Research Activities


The Selmer Center is an active research group in secure and reliable communication. The main research activities include Coding Theory, Cryptology and Secure Communication. The Selmer Center was formed by the coding/crypto group at the Department of Informatics, University of Bergen, and was opened February 11, 2003.

The Selmer Center is an active research group with many publications in leading international journals as well as frequent organising and participating in international conferences as invited speakers and members of international program committees. They are also members of several editorial boards for leading international journals.

The Selmer Center is involved in several research networks and projects.
