Grand Terminus:

A central location, genuine dining experiences, historical and classical atmosphere - and the conference venue

Classical, elegant architecture characterises both the hotel's interior and exterior. The hotel has won awards for its excellent design, and in 1995 it became the first city hotel in the country to be proposed as a listed building. Its location near three multi-storey car parks with a total of 2,500 spaces, the railway station, airport bus, the bus station, the Bergen Light Rail and the Grieg Hall means that the hotel is very accessible, and it is a mere five minutes’ walk to Torgalmenningen Square.

Zander K:

Bergen’s first design hotel

The owners of Grand Hotel Terminus, join forces with other local investors to build Bergen's first design hotel. Stockholm-based top architects are part of the team. The brand new hotel is situated right next to Grand Hotel Terminus (the conference venue), and will open in March 2017. It will be the city’s only one of its kind, and offers a design hotel with budget prices, a wine bar and a restaurant with focus on organic and local food, innovative technical solutions, gym, and access to swimming facilities.

Scandic Byparken:

Central hotel in the middle of Bergen city.

Scandic Byparken is close to known sights such as Torgallmeninngen square, Grieghallen concert hall and the old wharf Bryggen. The restaurant serves a generous breakfast every day, in addition to lunch and dinner. The lobby bar is a good meeting point, perfect for unwinding after a long day full of activities. If you want to stay fit during your stay, you can use the facilities at iTrain gym across the street from the hotel. Parking is available at Grieghallen for guests arriving by car. The beautiful park Byparken, Festplassen square and Lille Lungegårdsvann lake are all close by our hotel, and popular Torgallmenningen square and Grieghallen concert hall are a few blocks away. If you wish to visit Bryggen Wharf and The Fish market (Fisketorget), they are only a 10-minute walk away.
