Gabriel Kristian Pedersen - New PhD student at the Gade Institute
Gabriel Pedersen has recently been employed as PhD student at the Gade Institute.
Gabriel's period of employment is from January 1, 2009 until December 31, 2011. The title of his dissertation is "Preparing for the Next Pandemic: the Immune Response to Influenza Vaccines". The project will evaluate the innate and adaptive immune response towards two influenza A H5N1 vaccines both administered intramuscularly and mucosally. The results will be used to asses the clinical potential of the vaccines and provide the fundament for new evaluation methods.
The project is funded by Innovest. Principal supervisor is Dr. Rebecca J. Cox and co-supervisor is Dr. Abdullah S. Madhun. Gabriel´s work place will be at the Gade Institute.
