Higher education in geology involves a range of interesting challenges and provides you with numerous possibilities in different directions. I am doing a master’s degree in petroleum geology and study the processes involved in creating potential oil- and gas resources. There are good prospects for future professional careers, and they are not in any way limited to the petroleum industry. The exhange programmes are also a great advantage in that each and every student can pursue his or hers own topics of interest.
