Vision and Mission

CGB’s vision is to create a Centre for integrated interdisciplinary studies focused on the geo-biosphere: a Centre that will be a central hub for international research at these scientific frontiers.

A major mission for CGB is to provide integrated training for PhD students and young researchers; thus providing the foundation for a new generation of researchers who will tackle fundamental questions, problems and opportunities related to the complex interactions between Earth's geo- and biosphere and who will develop novel approaches for studying them.
