Study in the polar north

Snow, ice and lots of field work. Many of our students travel up north to the Svalbard Archipelago, at about 78° north, for a term or two.

If you are interested in snow and ice studies, or other features of polar meteorology or oceanography, you can choose to do parts of your degree at the University center in Svalbard.
