Our research activity is divided between meteorology, oceanography and climate.

The Geophysical institute has five research groups: One in meteorology, one in climate dynamics and three in oceanography. The oceanographic activity is divided between chemical oceanography, large scale physical oceanography and small scale and coastal physical oceanography.
